hey Ian you have a nice looking monte , is that a factory color if so what is the code and the color. i use to own a 1970 in the 80’s i wish i still had it . it was a sb it had every option that you could get that year. right now i’m restoring a 1958 pontiac once thats done i’ll be selling her and looking for a 71 big block 4spd. once again really nice monte. Your Monte is the same color mine is supposed to be but someone went nuts and put a terrible grey paint job on it. I am going to repaint it pewter clear coat.

Ian,

I have a 70 Monte with a 454 in it and I was going to do add an Edelbrock FI system as well. What kinds of HP gains did you notice and any major difference in fuel economy?

Ian,

Happy Birthday!! 40 aint so bad…I clicked off 41 last November so have heart… We’re just getting started! Hell at least now we’re a litle wiser, or so they say…right?!?!

New theme is looking real good! I saw this theme when I started mine and thought about moding it for mine, but I haven’t had time to dink with it…
I am thinking about doing one with the Monte Carlo Script as a banner, and then slate grey back ground and a deviation to to a left sidebar, middle body right side bar set up…but building a theme from scratch right now is just an idea…one day I will get fed up with mine and say I’m doing this..till then…eh it works..LOL.
